If you enjoy walking, it takes just 10–15 minutes to reach the museum from Aksaray Square.

From the square, head toward Mevlana Street and follow it straight—you’ll spot the museum just off the main road, so it’s nearly impossible to miss! Along the way, you can stop by one of the local cafés or shops for a short break.

By Public Transport

By Bus: Aksaray’s local buses are a convenient option for visitors wanting to explore the city.

Here are a few useful lines:

Bus Line 70 – This bus starts at the Aksaray Intercity Bus Terminal and passes through the city center. Get off near the museum stop—if you're already close to downtown, it’s only a few stops away.
Bus Lines 72 & 73 – These routes operate around the city center and stop very close to the museum. Get off near Aksaray Central Mosque—from there, it's just a short walk.

By Tram

Aksaray also has a tram line (T1) that serves the main avenues and connects central areas of the city.

While the museum isn’t directly on the tram route, you can get off at Aksaray Street Tram Stop, which is about a 10-minute walk from the museum.
